Tone Those Glutes!

This post is for the ladies! I have a love/hate relationship with leg day. The quads/hamstrings/glutes are some of the largest muscle groups in the body so by training them hard you are developing a complete physique, increasing speed if you’re a runner, explosiveness and by working the largest muscle group you are burning the most calories during this workout.

I typically train legs twice a week. One focusing on Glutes / Hamstrings and one day focusing on the Quads. I always do 4 sets of each exercise increasing the weight with each set. If you are looking to get those legs toned here are some of my favorite moves.   • Squats
  • Leg Extensions
  • Lunges (Walking Lunges, Jump Lunges, Clock Lunges)
  • Leg Press (Single Leg Press and Double Leg Press)
  • Single Leg Squat

Glutes / Hamstrings

  • Hamstring Curls
  • Deadlifts
  • Single Leg Deadlift
  • Reverse Lunges
  • Hip Bridges (with weights)
