SHAKESPEARE DIDN’T STUDY SHAKESPEARE

Too often, I hear people tell other people what they should do to obtain success and prosperity… Go to school! Get an education! Find an internship! Take up a trade! Get a mentor! Pay your dues! Wait your turn! Be patient! Keep Applying! Revamp your resume! Get on social media! Play your part! Learn about the executives at the company! Dress for the position you want! Blah blah blah blah blah! (There may be moments when those words can be applied but for the purpose of today’s message, count them null and void)

The way I choose to see it….

SHAKESPEARE DID NOT STUDY SHAKESPEARE!

If you know your gift…use it. Don’t ask for permission to be who God created you to be!

Don’t be so fast to table your ambition to appease societal norms of mediocrity. David was 14 when he defeated Goliath.

Go out and be victorious. That is all. Good day. 🙂

Matthew 5: 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Luke 11: 33 “No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light.
