Simone Biles has already made history and is the most decorated American Gymnast at the young age of 18. With 13 years of experience behind her, has become the first African American world all-around champion and the first woman to win three consecutive world all-around titles. She has also won 10 gold medals which is the most won by a female gymnast in the World Championships. Let’s not stop there she has also claimed the title of both National and World All-Around Champion for multiple years in a row.
Simone rose through the ranks quickly, seeing her competitive career began only 5 years ago. Now she is set as an over-whelming favorite in the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. In July of last year, she announced that she would turn professional, forfeiting her NCAA eligibility and pushing her even faster onto the global stage in which she already dominates. This level of achievement doesn’t come without hard work and dedication. Simone trains 6 to 7 days a week, laboring endlessly in the gym which, in competitions pays off with impressive results!
